General Data Protection Regulation
In connection with the provisions of art. 13 and art. 14 of the REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation) we would like to inform you that the Administrator of your personal data is:

The Marshal’s Office of the West Pomerania Region is responsible for servicing the West Pomerania Region.
Pursuant to art. 37, paragraph 1 lit. a of the General Data Protection Regulation, the Administrator (AD) has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who oversees the processing of personal data on its behalf. The DPO can be contacted at abi@wzp.pl.
The scope of the activities of the regional self-government includes the performance of regional public tasks, not reserved by the statutes for government administration bodies. The West Pomerania Region collects your data for the purpose of implementing tasks resulting from legal provisions and the Statute of the West Pomerania Region, and in particular from the Act of 5 June 1998 on the regional self-government. The legal basis for the processing of your data results from a number of competence (substantive) acts and responsibilities and tasks mandated by institutions superior to the Region.
The administrator processes your personal data to a strictly defined, minimum extent necessary for the achievement of the purpose referred to above. In special situations, the Administrator can transfer / entrust your data to other entities. The basis for the transfer / entrustment of the data includes: legal provisions (e.g. the justice system, tax administration, institutions related to servicing the broadly-defined EU funds, entities related to social services – the Social Insurance Institution, PFRON) or any correctly developed, providing personal data security, data entrustment contracts related to processing (e.g. concluded with entities from the ICT and telecommunications, data processing sectors).
The personal data processed by West Pomerania Region will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with the periods of archiving specified in the competence laws or the Act of 14 June 1960 Code of Administrative Procedure and the Act of July 14, 1983 Act on the National Archival Resource and State Archives, including the regulation of the President of the Council of Ministers of January 18, 2011 regarding the office instruction, uniform material lists of files and instructions on the organization and scope of the operation of company archives.
Each person, with the exception of the reserved provisions of law, has the right to:
- access the personal data concerning the person,
- request rectification,
- remove the data or limit the processing,
- express objection to the processing.
The above-mentioned rights can be exercised at the Administrator's office by writing to the Administrator’s address or by e-mail, addressing correspondence to abi@wzp.pl.
The person whose data is processed on the basis of the consent expressed by this person has the right to withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that took place on the basis of the consent before its withdrawal.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body concerning the processing of your personal data by the West Pomerania Region that is not in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
Depending on the sphere in which personal data is processed in the West Pomerania Region, providing personal data is a statutory or a contractual requirement. In special cases, providing the data is a condition for the conclusion of a contract. The details of the basis for the collection of personal data and any obligation or voluntariness of the submission of it and the potential consequences of a failure to provide data shall be informed by the substantive department of the Marshal's Office of the West Pomerania Region.
